A self-taught painter, Sharyn uses watercolor pigment, pencils and gouache to illustrate songs and to capture real and imagined scenes on paper. Favorite subjects to date have included the dead bride of "Lowlands," Joni Mitchell's "Big Yellow Taxi", turning leaves, Coke bottles, and fruits and vegetables.
